Downed Trees, Power Lines Force Parsons Avenue Closing
Breaking: Hillsborough County deputies are asking motorists to steer clear of a section of Parsons Avenue.
BRANDON, FL — Motorists who travel along Parsons Avenue near the intersection with Old Hillsborough may want to find a different route heading into Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, downed trees and power lines in the area have forced the closing of Parsons at Old Hillsborough Avenue. Deputies anticipated just after 11 a.m. Sept. 28 that the closing would last for several hours.
The sheriff's office says an old tree fell down, creating the issue. No further information is available at this time.
