Pregnant women living with diabetes are invited to attend, without prescription or referral, a class on gestational diabetes. The class meets in Classroom C, Suite 258. The Oakfield Medical Plaza is directly across the street from Brandon Regional Hopsital, at the northwest corner of Oakfield Drive and Moon Avenue.
Class topics include:
- Medical nutrition therapy
- Monitoring (meter usage)
- Insulin therapy
- Exercise guidelines
- Overall health
Support persons are encouraged to attend. Bring a snack and glucose meter.
