Feel Good Video: Donating a Trailer Full of Bicycles

The Community Outreach Division of the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office traveled to the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches Youth Villa in Bartow on Nov. 13 to donate a trailer-load of bicycles.

According to a news report from the sheriff's office, the 40 bicycles were donated by Wal-mart and refurbished by God's Pedal Power Ministry and "were warmly received by the Youth Villa staff and the girls, who were quick to eye their favorite ride."

Since its opening in 1970, the Youth Villa campus reportedly has grown to include additional cottages, pastures for horseback riding, a barn, activity building, administration building, chapel and boat dock. Youth Villa has the capacity to serve 46 troubled youngsters, who are guided to become productive, law-abiding members of the community.
