DOVER, FL — How a community looks can impact how residents feel. Illegal dump sites and code violations can affect health, safety and property values in a neighborhood.

To help prevent this, Hillsborough County’s Rapid Response Team is offering curbside pickup in Dover for items that normally would require a trip to the landfill or community collection center.

From Friday, Aug. 26, to Thursday, Sept. 1, Hillsborough County residents who live in the area can put furniture, junk and debris, metal, electronics and up to five non-commercial tires at their curbside, and the Rapid Response Team will haul them away. Items must be placed at the curbside by 5 a.m. Putting them out the night before is recommended.
