Heidi's Legacy Dog Rescue To Benefit From Patch, Coffee House Event

Join our sister Patch, the Bloomingdale-Riverview Patch, at the Coffee House on FishHawk Boulevard in Lithia today, June 9, for a pet-food drive to benefit Heidi's Legacy Dog Rescue and its mission to care for abused and abandoned dogs.

In conjunction with 15282 FishHawk Blvd., Patch is giving away free cups of coffee to anyone who donates pet food from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Heidi's Legacy Dog Rescue takes in abused and abandoned dogs and finds them loving homes. .

D'Ann White, local editor of the Bloomingdale-Riverview Patch, will be on hand to meet residents and give out freebies. Coffee House is extending its regular Saturday hours to ensure everyone has a chance to drop by.

"We're hoping this is going to be a great success is for a great cause," said Coffee House manager Shannon Coughlin. "Coffee house loves our pups."

For those who are unable to stop by June 9, Coffee House will be accepting dog food all week long.
