National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day Hillsborough County Locations

If you have prescriptions you are no longer using, this once-a-year event gives residents the opportunity to safely discard them.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — The National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day will be Saturday at multiple Hillsborough locations.

If you have expired prescriptions or medications you are no longer using, this once-a-year event gives residents the opportunity to safely discard of these medications.


According to the National Take Back Initiatives Collection website, the following Hillsborough County locations will allow residents to drop off unused prescriptions from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. on Saturday:

  • Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, Brandon Regional Hospital 425 S. Parsons Ave., Brandon
  • Plant City Police Department, 2302 James L. Redman Pkwy., Plant City
  • Tampa Police Department, Walgreens, 17511 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa
  • USF Police Department, USF Morsani Center, 13330 USF Laurel Dr., Tampa
