Pit Bulls on Display at Mike's Smokehouse BBQ and Grill

The Pit Bull Dog Wash and Fun-Raiser is scheduled to take place from 1-5 p.m. today, June 2, at Mike’s Smokehouse BBQ and Grill at 7117 North U.S. Highway 301 in the Greater Brandon area of Tampa.

The event is an opportunity to view and adopt rescue pit bulls and to bring your pet in for a dog wash and dog paint. The event is presented by the Pit Bull Ambassadors of Hillsborough County Animal Services.

Vendors, raffles and an ice-cream cart will be on hand as well. Draft beers will sell for $1. A featured menu treat: Mike’s Smokehouse’s Fried Green Tomatoes.
