After growing up in Nigeria, Ok moved to the United States as a young adult and met his wife, Kathleen. Ok, a retired finance executive and professor, and Kathleen, a nurse practitioner said they wanted to combine their skills and passions.

“It was always my goal to purchase a business once I retired from my career, and growing up I had exposure to the medical industry with my dad, who was a physician, and my mom, who was a nurse,” Ok said. “I honed in my search on home health care franchises, and Right at Home repeatedly came up as a well-liked franchise. After speaking with the corporate team, I was sold on the brand and convinced I could help make a difference with the senior community in the area.”
