Riverview’s BlueGrace Logistics Announces Expansion Plans

RIVERVIEW, FL — Riverview’s BlueGrace Logistics is hiring and the transportation management company has plans to continue doing so as it expands its job force in Hillsborough County by more than 300 people over the next few years.

BlueGrace’s impending expansion was announced by Florida Gov. Rick Scott late Monday afternoon. The Riverview-based company was founded in 2009 and has since added locations across the country. BlueGrace provides transportation management services to clients across North America. Its focus is on helping businesses manage their freight costs by using “industry leading technology,” according to Scott’s office.

Back in 2015, BlueGrace announced its intention to create more than 100 new jobs in Hillsborough County. It has since created nearly 300, Scott’s office said.

“I am proud to announce that BlueGrace Logistics more than doubled their job creation goals by creating nearly 300 new jobs for families in the Tampa Bay area over the past year and a half,” Scott said Monday. “The company will also continue expanding in Florida by creating an additional 300 new jobs. Today’s announcement shows why we work each day to make Florida the most business-friendly state in the nation so more companies like BlueGrace will choose to invest and create new opportunities in our state.”

Scott paid a visit to BlueGrace’s headquarters in advance of the expansion announcement. The company’s CEO Bobby Harris said BlueGrace appreciated Scott’s support in creating an environment “that helps our community grow and we look forward to welcoming even more Floridians to the BlueGrace team.”

BlueGrace is headquartered at 2846 S. Falkenburg Road. The company currently employs more than 400 Floridians, many in the Tampa Bay area. It also has more than 60 franchise and corporate locations across the country, including a Jacksonville site.
