Selmon Expressway Memorial Day Lane Schedule Set

BRANDON, FL — Tampa Bay area motorists who use the Selmon Expressway to get around may want to take note of the Memorial Day schedule for the reversible express lanes.

According to the Tampa Hillsborough County Expressway Authority, the reversible lanes will open eastbound starting at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 26. The lanes will remain open in the eastbound direction through the Memorial Day weekend.

The normal operational schedule for the express lanes will resume at 6 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, when they’ll shift back to the westbound direction for traffic traveling from Brandon into downtown Tampa.
