Big Bend Lanes Open After Crash
Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies were asking motorists to steer clear of a stretch of Big Bend Road Tuesday morning.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — Update 10:17 a.m. May 9: The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has announced that all lanes along Big Bend Road are open following a crash involving a semi-truck. Information about the crash has not yet been released.
Earlier: A Tuesday morning crash involving a semi has forced the closing of some lanes along Big Bend Road in the Interstate 75 area.
According to the sheriff’s office, the crash has forced the closing of eastbound Big Bend Road, east of I-75. Westbound Big Bend lanes and I-75 remain open. As of 7:19 a.m. May 9, it was unclear how long the closing might last.
