Sheriff's Gee's Benefit Clay Shoot To Aid Wounded Warriors' Families
Hillsborough County Sheriff David Gee is lending his name to a clay shoot in October that will benefit Operation Helping Hand, the Haley House and the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.
Hillsborough County Sheriff David Gee’s Sporting Clays Shoot Out is set to benefit Operation Helping Hand, an initiative of the Tampa chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), and the Haley House Fund.
Operation Helping Hand has been organized to help the families of the wounded and injured during their stay in the Tampa Bay area. Haley House is a non-profit that assists in providing local housing to the wounded and their families while in the Tampa Bay area.

Also to benefit is the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, which is dedicated to providing free college scholarships and educational counseling to the children surviving Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps Special Operations personnel killed in a training accident or operational mission. These services are provided throughout the United States and overseas, based on where the surviving children reside.
Registration for the Oct. 19 shootout at Tampa Bay Sporting Clays is at 8 a.m., followed by the shotgun start an hour later.

The registration form is posted online on the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office's Web site.
