Suspects Steal Rings From Tampa Jewelry Store: Deputies

The couple fled from the store with two rings valued at $8,000.

TAMPA, FL - A man and woman tried on various pieces of jewelry at the A & G Design Jewelers on Tuesday afternoon and then fled from the store with two rings valued at $8,000, deputies said. They ran westbound through the parking lot and drove away in a black, Nissan SUV.

The surveillance video of the theft can be seen here. The theft occurred about 1:24 p.m. at the store, 6120 Winthrop Town Centre Ave.

While the couple tried on rings, the man used his cell phone and proceeded to the business exit. As he held the door open, the woman ran from the store with two rings.

The man was described as 5 feet, 10 inches to 6 feet, 1 inch tall, 180-190 pounds, medium build, long dreads. He was last seen wearing dark pants, a dark sweatshirt and gray beanie. The woman was described as about 5 feet, 3 inches tall, 120-130 pounds, thin build, dark curly chin-length hair. Last seen wearing a tight-fitting, khaki or mustard colored dress.
