Tampa Man Arrested For Possession of Child Pornography

TAMPA, FL - A Tampa man has been arrested in a child pornography and sexual abuse investigation by Hillsborough County deputies. The man was identified as Dabbs B. Postma, 44, of Tampa. He was charged with possession of child pornography and promotion of a sexual performance by a child, sexual battery.

Deputies were contact by Tampa police about a complaint they had received regarding a Facebook account that was uploading child pornography (still photos and video).

The investigation revealed that the uploads were being received in Tampa and coming from North Carolina and had been ongoing since April of 2017. A juvenile female victim was identified, as well as the location in Tampa where the child pornography was being received, deputies said.

Deputies served a search warrant at Postma’s residence and he admitted to the video and photographic child pornography uploads, deputies said. He also admitted to having sex with the juvenile victim in Tampa, as well as in North Carolina, according to the sheriff’s office.
