Thanksgiving, Black Friday 2016: Mall Hours Around Tampa Bay

Tampa Bay area residents gearing up for post-Thanksgiving and Black Friday sales will find many of the region’s malls plan to observe special hours to accommodate them.

Here’s a roundup of malls and their planned hours of operation for Thanksgiving, Nov. 24, and Black Friday, Nov. 25:

• Westfield Brandon, 459 Brandon Town Center, Brandon – Thanksgiving 6 p.m. to midnight; Black Friday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Mall at University Town Center, 140 University Town Center Drive, Sarasota – Thanksgiving, 6 p.m. to midnight; Black Friday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Westfield Sarasota Square, 8201 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota – Thanksgiving, 6 to midnight; Black Friday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Westfield Southgate, 3501 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota – Thanksgiving, closed; Black Friday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• DeSoto Square, 301 Boulevard W., Bradenton – Thanksgiving, closed; Black Friday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Tyrone Square Mall – 6901 22nd Ave. N., St. Petersburg – Thanksgiving, 6 p.m. to 1 a.m.; Black Friday, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Westfield Countryside, 27001 U.S. 19 N., Clearwater – Thanksgiving, 6 p.m. to midnight; Black Friday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Gulf View Square Mall, 9409 U.S. 19, Port Richey – Thanksgiving, closed; Black Friday, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Tampa Premium Outlets, 2300 Grand Cypress Drive, Lutz – Thanksgiving, 6 p.m. to midnight; Black Friday, midnight to 10 p.m. The mall will observe holiday special holiday hours through Dec. 30. Check out its website for details.

• WestShore Plaza, 250 WestShore Plaza, Tampa – Thanksgiving, 6 p.m. to 1 a.m.; Black Friday, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Westfield Citrus Park, 8021 Citrus Park Town Center Mall, Tampa – Thanksgiving, 6 p.m. to midnight; Black Friday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• University Mall, 2200 E. Fowler Ave., Tampa – Thanksgiving, closed; Black Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
