Valrico Woman Arrested After Hit-And-Run Crash

Breaking: A Valrico woman faces charges after the Florida Highway Patrol says she hit a pedestrian and fled the scene.

BRANDON, FL — An 18-year-old Valrico woman was arrested following a Wednesday morning hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Tianna E. Perretta was heading west on State Road 60 in the outside lane west of the Interstate 75 overpass around 9:02 a.m. Sept. 28. At that time, Annie Marie Christal Skeens, 25, of Tampa was walking east on westbound State Road 60 on the outside grass shoulder, a highway patrol report said.

Perretta failed to maintain control of her 2015 Honda Civic, the report said. The vehicle left the road, went onto the shoulder and hit Skeens.
