9 Hillsborough Libraries Extend Hours

The Tampa-Hillsborough County Public Library System has announced extended Thursday hours at several locations.

Extra money in the 2015 budget has enabled the library system to now remain open on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the following locations, according to an email to media from the agency:

• John F. Germany Library, 900 N. Ashley Drive
• Bloomingdale - 1906 Bloomingdale Ave., Valrico
• Brandon - 619 Vonderburg Drive, Brandon
• Jimmie B. Keel - 2902 W. Bearss Ave., Tampa
• Jan Kaminis Platt - 3910 S. Manhattan Ave., Tampa
• New Tampa - 10001 Cross Creek Blvd., Tampa
• Town ’N Country - 7606 Paula Drive, Suite 120, Tampa
• SouthShore - 15816 Beth Shields Way, Ruskin
• Upper Tampa Bay - 11211 Countryway Blvd., Tampa
