Cause Of Fire At BJ's Restaurant In Citrus Park Investigated
Fourteen Hillsborough County Fire Rescue units were called out Tuesday after a fire broke out at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse.

CITRUS PARK, FL — Fourteen Hillsborough County Fire Rescue units were called out Tuesday after a fire broke out at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse, 8002 Citrus Park Town Center.
The restaurant closed at 11 p.m. Monday, and the smoke was discovered by a mall security officer shortly after 3:30 a.m. with the first unit arriving on the scene at 3:49 a.m.
Crews arrived to find a smoke-filled restaurant with a small fire flickering in the kitchen. The first crew on the scene forced its way into the restaurant and was able to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation but was contained to the area above the grill and warming station. Fire rescue's vent truck responded to push the smoke out of the restaurant and hallways.
