What's Open, What's Closed In Hillsborough For Thanksgiving

The regular collection schedule resumes Friday.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — There is no trash, recyclables or yard-waste pickup at residences in unincorporated Hillsborough County and New Tampa on Thanksgiving Day.

Service at those homes will resume on the next regularly scheduled pickup day. There is no "makeup" day for residents whose disposables are not collected on Thursday.

The regular collection schedule resumes on Friday, Nov. 27.

Meanwhile, most Hillsborough County offices, libraries, and other facilities are closed on Thanksgiving Day and Friday in observance of the holiday.

All conservation parks are closed Thursday. They reopen Friday.
