Road Rage: 12-Gauge Shotgun Pointed At Vehicle With Kids Inside, Deputies Say
A 24-year-old Carrollwood area man is accused of pointing a shotgun at a vehicle with a 2-year-old and 2-week-old inside.

TAMPA, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a 24-year-old man following an alleged Saturday night road rage incident on the Veterans Expressway.
According to deputies, the victims were traveling southbound on the expressway around 6:30 p.m. Jan. 28 with their children in the backseat. In the area just north of Ehrlich Road, deputies say the victims are accused of traveling into the lane Alexander King was driving in.
King, an email from the sheriff's office said, responded to the intrusion by driving up next to the family's vehicle and pointing a 12-gauge shotgun at them. The victims were in fear for their lives and the lives of their children, a 2-year-old boy and a 2-week old boy, the email added.

The family was able to obtain a tag number and vehicle description, the sheriff’s office said. That information led deputies to King’s Ellendale Avenue home where he was interviewed and brought into custody.
King admitted to the incident following his arrest, the email said. A shotgun was recovered from King's home.
