Accused Drunk Driver Gets Lost, Calls 9-1-1 For Help: Report

Police found a man in a Clearwater neighborhood after he called authorities and told him he didn't know where had driven.

CLEARWATER, FL — A Clearwater man accused of drunk driving Tuesday got lost and called 9-1-1 for help, WFLA reported.

Rowel Aceron Rosal called Clearwater police at 3:40 a.m., and told authorities he had been drinking and drove to an unfamiliar area, the TV outlet said.

Rosal is accused by police of having bloodshot and glassy eyes when officers found him sitting in the driver's side of the vehicle with the engine running at the 2500 block of Sands Drive, according to the affidavit.
