Aussie Grill Bringing 'Best Sandwich in Tampa Bay' to Clearwater

CLEARWATER, FL — Aussie Grill, a Tampa-based, fast-casual restaurant concept in the Tampa Bay-based Bloomin’ Brands Inc. portfolio, is opening a new, freestanding location with drive-thru service in at 2540 Gulf to Bay Blvd. in Clearwater, on Monday, Dec. 6.

Eager to share its menu with the community, Aussie Grill is holding a “Taste Adventure” grand prize giveaway, offering seven lucky guests a chance to win Free Aussie Grill for a Year.

Guests can enter to win the Aussie Grill Taste Adventure by visiting the new Clearwater location Dec. 6-12 to find and scan the Giveaway QR Code and sign up to become an Aussie Insider. The Giveaway QR Code can be found in the dining room and the drive-thru.

The new restaurant will open with dine-in service, drive-thru, online ordering and pick-up, and delivery available through Uber Eats and DoorDash. Aussie Grill offers a chef-driven menu inspired by the bold, fresh flavors of Outback Steakhouse, including a mix of sandwiches, burgers, large plates and salads, all scratch-made in under four minutes.

Fan favorites include the hand-breaded Crispy Seasoned Chicken Tenders, the Bacon Bomb Burger and the Crispy Sriracha Chicken Sandwich, recently voted “Best Sandwich in Tampa Bay” in Tampa Magazine’s 2021 Tampa Sandwich Hunt.

Like all Aussie Grill restaurants, the Clearwater location will offer two specials each week: “Mondays are for the Kid’s” and “Tender Tuesday.” Each Monday, kid’s meals are just $2 with the purchase of any handheld, and each Tuesday customers can get two hand-breaded tenders for just $2 with any purchase.

According to Singh, the new Aussie Grill location will create more than 50 new jobs and the restaurant is currently hiring for several positions.
