Clearwater Cops To Wait Tables In Special Olympics Fundraiser

Clearwater cops are taking on the Tip a Cop event, where they'll wait tables at a local eatery with tips going to Special Olympics Florida.

CLEARWATER, FL — Members of the Clearwater Police Department are giving the community a chance to support a good cause while grabbing a bite. The fundraiser event, named Tip a Cop, is meant to raise money for Special Olympics Florida.

Cops will be at Abe's at 1250 S. Missouri Ave. on Tuesday, Feb. 11, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. serving as waiters.

The tips you leave for Clearwater cops will go to Special Olympics Florida to help "the many deserving athletes who compete in the annual games," police said in their Facebook post about the event.
