Coach Arrested After Brawl At FL Youth Football Game In Clearwater
A coach from Gainesville was arrested after multiple fights broke out at a youth football game in Clearwater, reports said.
CLEARWATER, FL — A coach was arrested after multiple fights broke out during a youth football game in Clearwater on Saturday afternoon, according to multiple reports.
When Clearwater police found two people injured when they responded to the Countryside Sports Complex, 3060 McMullen Booth Road, around 3:30 p.m., WFLA reported.
Officers arrested a coach from Gainesville, Earick Fitzgerald Williams, 36, Tampa Bay 28 said. He was charged with battery and disorderly conduct and booked into the Pinellas County Jail.

Ten to 15 people were involved in the brawl, reports said.

Witnesses told officers that Williams was the aggressor in the incident, which he initiated as a verbal altercation with several people on the field, Fox 13 reported.
This led to a physical confrontation with the opposing team’s coach, reports said.
Williams is accused of punching the man and leaving a cut on the left side of his face and ear.
