Crash Closes Myrtle Avenue Lanes
A serious injury accident involving a bicyclist has closed a section of Myrtle Avenue in Clearwater.
CLEARWATER, FL — Clearwater Police are asking motorists to steer clear of Myrtle Avenue near Jones Street Thursday morning.
According to the agency, an accident involving a vehicle and a bicyclist happened just after 9 a.m. Aug. 17. The male bicyclist was taken to a local hospital as a trauma alert, an email from the agency said. His name has not yet been released.
Police say Myrtle Avenue is closed in both directions near Jones Street.
