Longtime Pinellas County Resident Anne Moston Dies
She had an immense passion for the Tampa Bay Rays and recorded every player stat and game results since the team was established.

CLEARWATER, FL — Anne Pace Moston, 97, of Clearwater, died March 5 after a brief illness.
She was born Aug. 8, 1923, in Chicago and moved to Largo in 1958. Anne was an executive secretary for most of her working life while raising her four children. She was active in local political organizations and served on the Largo Democratic Party committees during the 1960s.
She had an immense passion for the Tampa Bay Rays and recorded every player stat and game results since the team was established. Her tough, independent nature enabled her to live unassisted in her own home until her death. She did it her way until her last day.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Josephine Pace, former husband, Fred Moston, daughter Cheryl, and brothers Salvatore and Joseph Pace.
Anne is survived by her daughter Joanne “Cookie” Moston Kennedy, son Joe Moston, son Marc Moston, and grandsons, Lukas Kennedy and Michael Moston.

Services will be held Friday, March 12 at 2 p.m. at St. Jerome’s Catholic Church, 10895 Hamlin Blvd., Largo. Masks and social distancing are requested.
