Suspicious Package Investigated by Clearwater Officials
Cleveland Street has been shut down and nearby businesses evacuated, officials said.

Clearwater Police and fire officials are investigating a report of a suspicious package out found outside Station Square Park and a condominium complex on Cleveland Street on Monday morning.
A call came in at 9:45 a.m. about the package at 612 Cleveland St., outside the park and the Station Square Condos, public safety spokesperson Joelle Castelli said in an email to media just before 11:30 a.m.
The Tampa Bomb Squad arrived at 10:58 a.m. and are inspecting the package, Castelli said. Surrounding businesses have been evacuated, and Cleveland Street is shut down.
"The package is a standard cardboard package that is poorly wrapped," Castelli said. "It is addressed to a location in Indiana and there is no return address."
