Thousands gathered today for the annual King Mango Strut in Coconut Grove
MIAMI, Fla. - The Alexander brothers accused of rape and sex trafficking sported orange jumpsuits before thousands. Brightline train "victims" got around in wheelchairs.
A parade that parodied events from the past year gave reason to celebrate the news.
And that's what thousands gathered alongside Main Street and Grand Avenue in Coconut Grove did when the King Mango Strut got underway today.

Glenn Terry and Bill Dobson coordinated the King Mango Strut in 1982, after they were denied entry to college football's King Orange Bowl Jamboree.
The parade has since become a community favorite - one that has outlasted the jamboree itself.

Regular King Mango Strut favorites typically include the Marching Freds, the Booger Kings and the Hare Krishna movement that has a temple in the Grove.
