3) The Toronto Blue Jays mark Canada Day in St. Pete today in a special appearance against the Canadian Junior National Team for the St. Petersburg International Baseball Series at Al Lang Field. The Canadian Juniors are made up of Canada's best 18 and under ballplayers. Brett Lawrie, the Blue Jays' rising star, is a former Canadian Junior. Lawrie, Jose Bautista, Trystan Magnuson, JP Arencibia and Adam Lind will all be on the roster. Gates open at 11:30 a.m. for batting practice. 4) Touch a Truck is coming soon to a Highlander Park near you (April 28)! But before the fun begins, organizers are looking to build upon last year's event. If you've got a vehicle you'd like to display, click on this link. Organizers estimate that the event draws around 15,000 people each year.
