A Lovecraft Sunset

This week's sunset was shot along Edgewater Drive, right on the border of Dunedin and Clearwater, says its owner, our fellow Patch editor Alex Tiegen in New Port Richey.

He sent it to us with the title "A Lovecraft Sunset."

Why?

"It's a Lovecraft sunset because I thought it looked like Cthulhu looking down from the sky, with the sun its eye and the rays its tentacles," he said. "I'm weird. Wiki it if you have no idea what I'm referring to."

Don't you know, it's the first place we looked. (Hmmm ... well, OK.)

He shot this sunset on an unspecified date in November 2011.
