First Osprey Hatches in Osprey Cam Nest
Visitors can view the osprey chick and family at the interactive website.

The first of three osprey eggs under Osprey Cam surveillance hatched Tuesday morning.
"The really exciting part now begins at the website as the parents feed and rear the young until they are ready to fledge," DunedinOspreyCam.org spokeswoman Sparky Jones wrote in an email blast to followers.
The nest is located at along the Pinellas Trail and is under 24-hour surveillance that the public can view at www.DunedinOspreyCam.org.

Visitors to the website can view the osprey parents feeding the chick, Jones wrote. She told Patch last week that Dunedin Osprey Cam ultimately intends to install a microphone so viewers can listen inside the nest.
The Osprey Cam project is a privately-funded project that began in 2007 and came to fruition with the help of the Parks & Recreation Department.
