4) Also this week: city staff plans to recommend that Patricia Avenue be opened to one-way, northbound traffic only at the Dec. 1 commission meeting (6:30 p.m. ). The issue has divided neighbors and commission members. The road has been closed for about 8 months. Staff was asked to come up with alternatives to closing it or reopening it completely. Staff members will also recommend installing four speed humps, continuous sidewalks along north Patricia and one multi-way stop sign at McCarty Street.
