3) 's boys' and girls' varsity soccer teams play their home opener tomorrow (Nov. 8) against Osceola at 6 p.m.

4) Plan ahead. hosts a health and fitness expo this weekend. One of the highlights is the inaugural Fall 5K and 1-mile Fun Run on (Nov. 12). Cost is $22 for the 5K (starts 9 a.m.), $10 for the 1-miler (starts 8:30 a.m.). Register online. (Canned donations accepted to attend the health expo.)
5) November is National Alzheimer's Disease Awareness Month. Did you know that Neighborly Care Network, which has Dunedin as one of its three Pinellas locations, was the first in the nation to have Adult Day Care (according to Sandy Narron, of the Neighborly Care Network)? Dunedin officials stressed the importance of lending emotional support to those affected by the disease, because it take a toll on caregivers and families.
