4) Our Southside neighbors are getting some flood relief soon, but their streets will be a construction zone for about a year as a new storm drain system is installed. The city is meeting for public input on how best to ease the inconvenience at today from 6 to 8 p.m.

5) Architects and city officials are to discuss proposed changes to Highlander Park's Master Plan on Wednesday. People will be able to comment on their proposed relocation of the fire station and plans for the ball fields, tennis courts and Highlander Pool. Meeting is at at 6:30 p.m.
