5) Bring your pets, large and small, to Our Lady of Lourdes Church tomorrow for a blessing in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals. The Catholic church celebrates his feast day today, but the blessing of the animals is Wednesday at 2:30 p.m., on the school grounds. Pets must be on a leash or carried in your arms.
