A Facebook group calling itself Funedin recruited volunteers primarily through social media inviting residents to lip-sync R.E.M.'s "Shiny, Happy People" on Jan. 29, for a Dunedin version of the music video, the brainchild of . Organizers are in the middle of production and verifying names to be included in the credits.
