New Businesses: Olde General Store, Kalamazoo Olive Co.

The Olde General Store of Dunedin and Kalamazoo Olive Company celebrated grand openings Saturday.

Owner Peggy Saulsgiver moved The Olde General Store into the former  769 Main St. The shop, now painted in an antique barn red, sells American made toys, old-fashioned snacks, antiques and collectibles. 

James Ryan, who opened , celebrates his public grand opening Saturday. The gourmet grocery store specializes in premium olive oils and vinegars. It is located inside Independence Square Plaza at 1232 County Road 1 (near Winn-Dixie). Chef John Lewis will be doing food demonstrations; also enjoy complimentary Bloody Marys in the morning and free gifts with every purchase.

Both shops open at 10 a.m.
