Spring Training: Blue Jays vs Yankees Preview

Brett Cecil is starts against the Yankees Thursday at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium.

Cecil, a left-handed pitcher, has dropped more than 20 pounds since last season, according to the Toronto Sun.

Also slated Thursday in Toronto's Grape Fruit League pitching rotation are Scott Richmond, Chad Beck, Drew Carpenter, Jesus Figueroa, Jason Frasor, Jerry Gil, and Jim Hoey, according to Totonto's MLB reporter Gregor Chisholm. 

For the Yankees, Ivan Nova, right-hander, is the probable starter. He pitched two innings against the Phillies on March 4 and gave up two runs (one earned).
