Author of Young Adult Novel to Speak at East Lake Library
Augusta Scattergood's debut novel, Glory Be, is a young adult story set in 1964 Mississippi.

On Tuesday, March 19, you'll be able to meet author Augusta Scattergood at the East Lake Library .
Scattergood will be the library's featured Author's Showcase speaker. Her debut novel, Glory Be, is a young adult story set in 1964 Mississippi and centers around friendship, family, and difficult choices when the civil rights movement arrives in a small town.
In November, Glory Be was named by Amazon as the Top Middle School Novel of the Year.

Scattergood’s second book will be published by Scholastic in the autumn of 2014.Â
