East Lake Hockey Team to Face-off in National Play
After capturing the title of State Champions, the Eagles are preparing to perform at the national level.
On March 16, the East Lake Eagles hockey team will hit the ice in Coral Springs, Florida as they play for keeps in the National Championship tournament.
Eagles coach, Jim Anna said he is excited for the boys to take their game to the next level of play.
"This is a very very good hockey team,"Â Anna said.

The Eagles went undefeated in state play last weekend and shattered their competition in the finals with a score of 7-1.
Normally, the season would be over but the Eagles qualified to compete in national play.

Anna said that the Eagles last saw success like this in 2006, but are eager to bring the national title home to East Lake.Â
