There's plenty to do this weekend! And mark your calendars for the Bay Pines VA Memorial Day Ceremony at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 28.

Weekend Events: There's a lot going on this weekend! In our Patch Minute, we feature the Backyard BBQ and Bands on the Sand in Treasure Island! Both events are free! Memorial Day Ceremony: The Bay Pines VA will commemorate Memorial Day with a ceremony on Monday, May 28th at 10:00 a.m. at the Bay Pines National Cemetery. This is the only National Cemetery in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties and the largest observance of Memorial Day with over 3,000 expected attendees. Veterans, their families and friends, and the general public are invited to attend.

Flag Day: Mark your calendars for the City of Gulfport's Flag Day Celebration on Thursday, June 14 at 10 a.m. at Veterans Park on the corner of 54th St. S. and Shore Blvd. S. The event is free and open to the public. For more information call (727) 893-1118.
