Help Cleanup Downtown: Want to help cleanup Gulfport's beachfront in time for the 4th of July? Sandy Duffy, (Super) Volunteer Coordinator, is asking everyone to come out on Saturday, June 30, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. ready to "help beautify Beach Blvd." by cleaning out flower beds, sweeping streets, sidewalks, pavers and more. Clam Bayou Cleanup: According to a post on Gulfport Patch's Facebook page there will be a community service cleanup event at Clam Bayou on Friday, June 29 starting at 8 a.m. You're asked to bring gloves and trash bags. We're working to gather contact information for vounteers.
