5 Things to Know in Gulfport: Jet Pack, Aquamania, Readers' Choice

Jet Pack Demo: That's right! There will be a JetLev demonstration at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 23 at Gulfport Beach during Aquamania. Check out a preview on our post "Water Propelled Jetpack at Aquamania."

Aquamania: There will be live music, friendly games, children's activities and more at today's big event at the Gulfport Beach and The Point (behind the Gulfport Recreation Center) from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Check out the full schedule in Lori Rosso's "Aquamania Survival Guide." The main event will be at 4 p.m. It's the recycle regatta! Come out and see who wins and of course, who sinks!

Patch in the Dunk Tank: Wahoo! Who wants to earn a Patch t-shirt on Saturday? Stop by the dunk tank at 1 p.m. and try to dunk Editor Cherlene Willis and you'll receive a free t-shirt! Now, the tank is going on all day, so stop by anytime to dunk someone.
