5 Things to Know in Gulfport: Oral Cancer Screening, SoStudio Tour, 'Breaking Legs'
Oral Cancer Screening, "Breaking Legs," So Studio Tour tickets on sale and more in "5 Things to Know Today."
Free Cancer Screenings: The City of Gulfport, in conjunction with the Oral Cancer Foundation, Moffitt Cancer Center and Walgreens, will be hosting a free Oral Cancer and PSA Screening on Saturday, April 28, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Walgreen’s parking lot on the corner of 58th St. S. and Gulfport Blvd. S. in Gulfport. People will register for the screening at the day of the event. David Hastings continues to volunteer organizing this event and has also added a simple prostate (PSA) blood test.
"Breaking Legs": Gulfport Community Players present "Breaking Legs" at the Catherine Hickman Theater April 27, 28 and 29. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at The Gulfport Casino, Eileen’s Resale Boutique (5401 Gulfport Blvd. S.), the Gulfport Beach Bazaar (3115 Beach Blvd. S.) and the Gulfport Area Chamber of Commerce (4926 Gulfport Blvd. S.).
SoStudio Tour: Early Bird tickets are on sale until April 28 for the second annual SoStudio Tour on May 12 from 3 - 8 p.m. Tickets will be $10 at the door, but if you buy them now, tickets are just $5. You can buy them online at www.so40.org or by prepaying over the phone by calling (727) 347-4786.

Fun Day: The annual Boca Ciega Yacht Club "Fun Day" is on Saturday, April 28 from 1 - 4 p.m. Stop by for free sailboat rides, hot dogs, drinks and door prizes. Plus, Gulfport Patch will be at the event! We'll collect food donations and help answer any questions you have about Gulfport Patch!
