5 Things to Know Today: Happy Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day: Tis' the day of hearts, hugs and kisses! Do you have plans for Valentine's Day? If you're still planning a date consider coming out for ballroom lessons at the Gulfport Casino Ballroom today at 12, 1, and 2 p.m. Lessons are $7 per person with intermediate lessons at 12, beginner at 1 and general dancing at 2 p.m.

Valentine's Dance: Dance with your sweetheart to the sounds of Lloyd John's 18-piece Gulf Bay Big Band. Decorations, snacks, prizes, and cash bar as well. The Valentine's Dance at the Gulfport Casino Ballroom is tonight at 8 p.m. Tickets are $12 per person.

Gulfport Fresh Market: Buy your Valentine something sweet from the Gulfport Fresh Market. The market is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and features dozens of vendors with one-of-a-kind artwork, clothing, decor and more. You can also find fresh plants and flowers!

Clothing Swap: Got some clothes to get rid of? Want to trade garments you don't wear? Bring them to the monthly Gulfport Merchants Association's clothing swap!
