5 Things to Know Today: Tax Help, City Council, Freedom Found

Tickets on sale now for the musical drama "Freedom Found," AARP tax help today at the Gulfport Public Library and more in "5 Things to Know Today."

AARP Tax Help: There is free tax assistance at the Gulfport Public Library on Mondays and Fridays in March. Come between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and bring social security cards for all persons listed on the tax returns, a photo ID and all tax documents such as W2's, etc. For more information call the library at 893-1074.

Art Fundraiser: Did you miss the Gulfport Elementary students' Art Fundraiser on Saturday at the Art Walk? You can still help and learn more about third grade teacher Beth Myers on the National Foundation for Transplants website.

City Council: The Gulfport City Council meeting is on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Catherine Hickman Theater. You can view and print the agenda today on the City's website.

Freedom Found: Tickets are on sale now online for the musical drama Freedom Found at the Catherine Hickman Theater. Opening night is on Friday, March 30 with shows on March 31, April 1, 6, 7, and 8 in Gulfport. Tickets start at $20. For more information email freedomfoundmusical@tampabay.rr.com.
