Come join the American Cancer Society in Gulfport’s first annual Bark for Life Event.
On January 21st, dogs and their owners can come out to Gulfport Recreation Center field to help raise funds and awareness for the fight against cancer. The event begins at 2pm with registration and a walk honoring survivors and concludes at 6pm with a doggy parade down Shore Blvd (so bring your pups dressed to impress!). This noncompetitive walk is a fundraising opportunity that honors the caregiving qualities of canine companions.
It is $10 to register and all proceeds go to the American Cancer Society to help find cures, fight back against cancer and help the world celebrate more birthdays. There will be music, doggy giveaways and plenty of fun.
