Gulfport Neighbors calling on volunteers for help!
On Saturday January 28th, at 8 a.m. Gulfport Neighbors invites all volunteers to 5200 8th Avenue South in Gulfport to work on a very large home project to help a neighbor in distress. Water will be provided, but please bring work
gloves, rakes, tree pruners, wheelbarrows, shovels, hammers, and other tools. If you don't have tools to bring, don't worry, as there will be extras on hand.
Community Service Officer Robert McLaughlin of the Gulfport Police Department informed Doug Hudson, one of the founders of Gulfport Neighbors of this home's
grave condition.
"We have never taken on a large project like this," Doug
smiled, "but we are excited to do whatever we can to help a resident in need.
We have over 60 confirmed volunteers and the number is still rising."
