Mentors Needed at Boca Ciega High School

Are you a good listener? Do you want to help Gulfport's teens? Are you able to volunteer for about one hour a week?

Boca Ciega High School needs your help. You can help motivate a student to stay focused on school through the Pinellas County Schools' mentor program.

Principal Michael Vigue writes, "You can provide encouragement and friendship to a student needing to build self-esteem."

All members are required to attend a free, two-hour mentor workshop and have a complete background check before mentoring. Training will be provided by Pinellas County Schools and will be offered at Boca Ciega High School, 924 58th St S, Gulfport, FL 33707.

  • March 16, 8:30 - 10:30 a.m.
  • April 19, 9 - 11 a.m.
