Anytime Pizza to Open Restaurant in Gulfport

Owners hope to open the new location of Anytime Pizza at 2930 Beach Blvd. S. in about two weeks.

Earlier this week Gulfport Patch reported that the restaurant would open it's doors for a Family and Friends night, soft opening, and grand opening during Feb. 11, 12, 13, 18,19 and 20. But, Gulfport Patch has learned that Anytime Pizza may not open on those dates as planned.

Founder and C.E.O. Thomas C. Coelho Sr. told Gulfport Patch this evening that the permitting process is taking longer than anticipated, which is delaying the opening of the new restaurant. Coelho apologizes for the inconvenience and hopes to be open by the next Art Walk on Saturday Feb. 19th.

The owners of Anytime Pizza recently bought Dominic's Pizzeria. This location will be the company's third location in South Pinellas County. Anytime Pizza is a family owned and operated business that began about 14 months ago.

Thomas Coelho says they had been in "negotiations for a couple months" and "this was a no-brainer." He says the about 30% to 35% of the business at the current location on 22nd Ave S. in St. Petersburg
